Smith Machine Squats

Quads Machine

Description

The Smith machine squat is a lower-body compound exercise that targets the quads, glutes, and hamstrings. The fixed bar path provides added stability, making it easier to focus on proper squat technique. This exercise is effective for building lower-body strength, muscle mass, and confidence under load.

How To

01 Set the bar across your upper back and stand with feet shoulder-width apart
02 Brace your core and unrack the bar
03 Push your hips back and bend your knees to descend
04 Drive through your heels to stand back up, squeezing your glutes at the top
