Walking Lunges

Quads Bodyweight

Description

Walking lunges are a dynamic lower-body exercise that target the quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes, while also engaging the core for stability. To perform walking lunges, individuals step forward with one leg, lowering the body until both knees are bent at 90-degree angles, then pushing off the front foot to step forward and repeat on the opposite leg. This exercise not only builds strength and endurance in the lower body but also improves balance, coordination, and functional movement patterns, making it a versatile addition to any workout routine.

How To

01 Stand tall, feet hip-width apart, core braced
02 Step forward and drop straight down until both knees hit 90 degrees
03 Keep your front knee stacked over your ankle, chest up
04 Drive through your front heel to stand and step into the next lunge
05 Alternate legs, keeping each rep smooth and controlled
