Curtsy Lunges

Glutes Bodyweight

Description

Curtsy lunges are a variation of the traditional lunge that target the glutes, quads, and inner thighs. To perform them, step one leg behind and across your body, bending both knees to lower into a lunge position while keeping your chest upright. The movement mimics a curtsy, engaging stabilizer muscles and improving balance and coordination. This exercise helps strengthen the lower body while also enhancing flexibility and overall stability.

How To

01 Stand feet hip-width, hands on hips
02 Step one leg behind and across your body
03 Bend both knees, drop into the curtsy position
04 Keep your chest tall and core braced
05 Drive through your front heel back to start, then switch sides
