The lying banded hip abduction is an isolation exercise that primarily targets the glutes, especially the gluteus medius. It helps improve hip stability, glute strength, and lower-body control. This exercise is effective for activating and strengthening the outer glutes.

How To

01 Lie on your back, band looped around your ankles, legs raised
02 Brace your core to keep your hips locked in place
03 Spread your legs apart against the band, driving through your hips
04 Pause and squeeze your glutes at full stretch
05 Return under control, keeping tension on the band
